Account Deletion
Draft. The time limits and retained data on this page may change after legal review.
This page explains how to delete your account in the Lusir app, developed by [Developer name], and the data linked to it. You do not need the app installed to use the email route.
If you signed in with Google
- Write to destek@lusir.app from the Google email address you use for Lusir.
- Put “Account deletion” in the subject line.
- If the sender address matches your account, we delete your account. If it does not match, we do not delete the account and we ask you to write from the correct address.
- When the deletion is complete, we send a confirmation email to the address you wrote from.
Deleting in the app
If the app is on your phone, go to Profile → Account → “Delete account” and accept the confirmation. This route is also open to people who use Lusir without an account. Deleting in the app also signs you out of Google on the phone.
If you use Lusir without an account
The anonymous record created when you use Lusir without an account is not linked to an email address, so we cannot identify you on the web. Your record is deleted in one of two ways:
- In the app: Profile → Account → “Delete account”.
- Automatically: Anonymous accounts unused for 180 days are deleted automatically each night. If you keep using the app, your account is not deleted.
Data that is deleted
- Your account: your user ID and, if you signed in with Google, the data received from Google (email, name, Google ID, profile picture address)
- Your session records (IP address, device information, dates)
- Your favorites, personal lists and list names
- Discovered places (reading history)
- The error log counter
Data that remains, and for how long
- Problem reports: The link to you is removed; the text and technical details remain. [Decision pending: deleting the text and its time limit.]
- Error logs: These are not linked to your identity; they are deleted when their 90-day period ends.
- Crash reports: These are not linked to your account. Google keeps this data for 90 days, then starts the deletion process.
- Server logs: These are security and fault records; they are deleted automatically within 7 days at most.
- Your deletion request: Your email is kept so that we can show we fulfilled your request. [Decision pending: retention period.]
How long does it take?
We complete email requests as soon as possible and within 30 days at the latest.
The Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.
