These terms govern your use of the Lusir mobile app. By using the app, you accept these terms.

Parties and scope

The software license for the iPhone version is granted under Apple’s standard end user license agreement. These terms govern the Lusir service and its content, not the software license. No text removes rights you cannot waive as a consumer.

What Lusir is

Lusir is a story-led discovery app for Istanbul. In the app you can explore places, their stories, sources and photos, use the map and themed tours, and save places and create personal lists. Lusir is currently free of charge.

Account and use

You can use Lusir without an account or by signing in with Google. You can delete your account in the app; the other routes are on the Account Deletion page. The Privacy Policy explains how your data is handled.

User rules

• Do not write other people’s personal information or unlawful content in a problem report.
• Do not strain the system or try to break it.
• Do not copy the content in bulk.

Content and photos

Stories are for information and are presented with their sources. If you spot a mistake, you can report it with the “Report a problem” feature; the text you send is used to review errors and content.

Rights in the texts belong to Lusir. Photos come from openly licensed sources and are subject to their own credits and licenses.

Routes and places

Times and distances in route mode are estimates. Directions open in your phone’s map app. Pay attention to your surroundings while walking. Access to places and their opening hours may change.

Google Maps

Lusir includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the then-current versions of the Google Maps End User Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.

Other third-party services

You use your Google account to sign in with Google. That account is subject to Google’s own terms.

Liability

Lusir is provided free of charge and “as is”. Liability arising from intent and gross negligence, and rights you cannot waive as a consumer, are reserved.

Termination

You can leave Lusir at any time by deleting your account. Access may be restricted if the app is used in breach of these terms.

Transfer to a company

If Lusir is transferred to a company in the future, the service and user data may pass to that company. We will tell you in the app at least 30 days before the transfer. If you do not accept, you can delete your account before the transfer.

Changes

If there is an important change, we will tell you in the app in advance. If you do not accept it, you can delete your account. The current text is published on this page.

Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Turkish law. Mandatory rights under the law of the country where you live are reserved. For disputes, you can apply to consumer arbitration committees and competent consumer courts, including those of your place of residence.

Language and contact

This text is published in Turkish and English, and both have the same content. If they differ, the Turkish text prevails. This rule does not limit mandatory rights you have under the law of the country where you live.
